Joeline received an Eco Award from Northern Beaches Council, in recognition of her work protecting the environment with Northern Beaches War On Waste.

Immediate areas of focus:

  • Supporting small business

  • Protecting the environment

  • Delivering quality infrastucture

  • Cost of living - sustainable housing and financial advocacy.

Joeline leads the Sustainable Housing initiative at Global Sisters, bringing innovative solutions to vulnerable families striving for home ownership. She co-founded Feed Our Medics charity, is Vice Chair of Electrify My Community and founded Northern Beaches War On Waste while managing the Dee Why Community Facebook group.

She has a passion to see small businesses better supported, a soft plastics and food waste collection service started on the beaches and cost of living pressures alleviated for the average person.

A lifetime beaches local, she wants to celebrate our bushwalks and beaches for the joy they bring to the community and connect vulnerable people with better resources.

Joeline’s business expertise and charitable endeavours demonstrate a strong, professional, compassionate individual who goes to great lengths to listen to people and advocate for our community's interests.

PASSIONATE BUSINESS ADVOCATE & ENVIRONMENTALIST

With international experience in Communications and business growth, Joeline thrives on supporting businesses and developing data-driven customer pathways. She loves detail.

During the pandemic, her work founding and leading Feed Our Medics helped create an income stream for local businesses, as well as revealing the stories of both entrepreneurs and frontline emergency medics. Joeline continues to advocate for better conditions for frontline nurses, hospital patients and equitable healthcare access.

As Founder of Northern Beaches War On Waste, Joeline collaborates with the public, businesses and government on how to save resources and better protect the environment. She was the recipient of a local council award for this work protecting the environment and was also invited to join Council’s Environmental Strategic Reference group of which she is an active current member.

Joeline has a young family and a busy husband but that does not stop them from participating in Surf Lifesaving, Soccer and musical endeavours. They are happiest kayaking, swimming, surfing or bush walking and have a combined passion for protecting and enjoying the natural environment and connecting people in the community.

Joeline has supported Your Northern Beaches Independent Team since 2021 when she saw Michael Regan MP, Clr Sarah Grattan and current Mayor Sue Heins advocating for a Council free from party politics, focusing instead on genuine community representation.

Joeline believes local government should prioritise residents' needs and a strengthened community over political agendas, ensuring decisions reflect the true voice of the community. By championing this approach, she aims to foster a more inclusive, transparent and responsive council that directly addresses local issues and improves the well-being of all Northern Beaches residents.

With a history of stepping up to support local businesses, better health, housing & transport services, and advocating to other levels of government to get the job done, Joeline will make an excellent representative for our community.

Her combined expertise and passion are exactly what the Northern Beaches need for a stronger future.
