Nick Beaugeard

Immediate areas of focus:

  • Supporting Business in the ward, especially Brookvale, Dee Why and Freshwater
     

  • Sportsground - Ensuring fair facilities for all
     

  • Environment - Enhancing our natural surroundings
     

  • Services - Enhancing council services to the community.

Nick has lived on the Northern Beaches since 2005, having before that lived in the USA, UK and was born in Guernsey, Channel Isles, where his mother was an independent politician!

Nick has spent his life working in technology; has founded five companies and is currently leading a team developing some great Australian Software. In his early twenties he volunteered as a drug and alcohol counsellor for young people.

Nick has been chair of the largest IT trade industry association worldwide (CompTIA) and won several awards including software developer of the year.

On the beaches, Nick has been involved in Curl Curl Football Club on the committee in various roles for about a decade, has been treasurer of the Manly Warringah Referees Association, and has been active in various areas of community life.

Nick has a passion for using technology for making things easier and is a recognised speaker on all things AI.

He lives in Dee Why with his wife and four adult kids, and being a local parent gives him a focus on what we can do to enhance the local area for our children to thrive and prosper.
