Rowie Dillon, your Northern Beaches Independent Team candidate for Pittwater is the current President of the Newport Chamber of Commerce and actively involved in the community.

She has proven herself bringing the business community together and has shown how her direct approach can effect real change at a grassroots level.

Rowie Dillon is a leading community voice at Newport.

During the past two years she has worked with various large organisations, and State and Federal government to affect change. Her contribution has made a difference.

​

She actively advocated for the reforms to federal vape legislation in consultation with Minister Butler and Dr Sophie Scamps. This advocacy led to a national change that Rowie is very proud of. She was mentioned in NSW Parliament for her work in this area, a mention recorded in Hansard.


She represents the Newport Chamber of Commerce at meetings across the ward and Northern Beaches at groups as far ranging as residents associations to surf lifesaving clubs, always advocating for, and supporting her local community.

Her passion is for the creation of better communities, to create working relationships between business, residents and interested parties for the betterment of the local outcomes. Her actions have shown fruit in Pittwater, as many residents and businesses would attest to.

 

Rowie has been a business owner for 21 years and is currently running "Rowie's by the Sea - Dining - Catering - Cakes", produce enjoyed across the peninsula.

Rowie's passion for finding solutions is based on her ability to listen, and communicate effectively to wide range of locals. 

​

If elected, Rowie intends to represent the different needs of the ward and make a difference, whether the issue is in Mona Vale, Palm Beach, Whale Beach, Avalon, Terrey Hills, offshore communities or Cottage Point.

​

Finally, Rowie will always conduct herself with integrity, and ensure our environment is protected, our way of life is preserved and Pittwater's unique character is maintained.
